Dr. Javad Oveisi, MD, CCFP is a Family Medicine Specialist and Clinic Director at Five Points Medical in North Vancouver. With over 25 years of clinical experience, he provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families of all ages, with a focus on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care.

Dr. Oveisi graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (1996) and practiced as a Family and Emergency Physician in Iran for 13 years before immigrating to Canada in 2009. Since 2015, he has worked in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, combining family and emergency medicine in both urban and rural settings.

He is a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys time outdoors with his wife and daughter, especially hiking and fishing.
